This Day In History: SCOTUS
Little known behind-the-scenes fact: SCOTUS barely avoided embarrassment with their announcement today.
The original court case had a typo, and the Justices thought they were debating the constitutionality of Obama’s Car. Roberts had written a majority opinion about the T-bird being more truly American, even going so far as quoting the Beach Boys, before a clerk caught the typo, and the Supremes changed the wording to apply to health care instead.
